工程及建造業福音團契成立簡介

在2009年11月中，有數位來自工程及建造業的專業人士在神的呼召和感動下，開始思想到怎樣可以團結一起在業界內興旺神的福音工作。他們走在一起彼此交流異象，認為如果這是神的旨意，必然會興起更多業內弟兄姊妺擁有共同心志。遂在2010年3月舉辦了一個異象分享會，邀請了業界不同公司、機構、教會的弟兄姊妺以及幾位牧者參與。各參與者在會上作出坦誠的分享，大家都渴望在工程及建造業界可以成立一個屬於業界的基督徒團契以推動在業內的福音工作。但大部份意見認為成立過程需要一段比較長時間的部署，在成立期間也需要有一些活動如培靈會、祈禱會等以維擊弟兄姊妺之間的關係和吸納更多有共同異象的弟兄姊妺加入。然而各參與者亦極盼望能夠盡快開展福音工作，於是在異象分享會中決定成立兩個工作小組：一個負責籌備成立團契，而另一個則負責籌辦團契成立前的各項活動。

在異象分享會後，我們舉辦了一個培靈會、一個福音佈道晚餐會及三次祈禱會。在每一項活動及團契的籌辦過程中，我們深深體會到神的同在。我們是來自不同背景的基督徒，但在不斷的禱告和神的帶領下，我們由互不相識變成彼此契合，互相支持，讓我們首先體會到主裡合一的喜樂。感謝神的恩典，「工程及建造業福音團契有限公司」(Engineering & Construction Evangelical Fellowship Limited) 已於2010年11月由二十三位屬於業內專業人士的創辦會員根據香港法例正式成立，而首屆董事會亦相應產生。

我們團契的異像是「在業內共建神的國度」。我們的使命就是在業內「作見證」、「傳福音」和「建平台」。我們盼望並歡迎有共同心志的弟兄姊妺加入我們的團契， 彼此支持， 團結力量， 倚靠神的恩典， 同心見證及傳揚主的福音，讓我們一起在業內共建神的國度。

Let's build the Kingdom of God in the industry

Practice Faith

• To practice biblical principles, live out our faith and be a witness to Jesus Christ in engineering and construction professions.

Preach Gospel

• To preach the gospel and lead people in the engineering and construction field to understand salvation

Promote Platform

• To coordinate and support Christian bodies in the engineering and construction field in participating ministries.

B – Bravery

• Be preaching the word at all times, in every place; make protests, say sharp words, give comfort, with long waiting and teaching. (Timothy 4:2)

U – Unity

• With all gentle and quiet behaviour, taking whatever comes, putting up with one another in love; Taking care to keep the harmony of the Spirit in the yoke of peace. (Ephesians 4:2-3)

I – Integrity

• Do all things without protests and arguments; So that you may be holy and gentle, children of God without sin in a twisted and foolish generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world, Offering the word of life; so that I may have glory in you in the day of Christ, because my running was not for nothing and my work was not without effect. (Philippians 2:14-16)

L – Love

• I give you a new law: Have love one for another; even as I have had love for you, so are you to have love one for another. By this it will be clear to all men that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another. (John 13:34-35)

D – Devotion

• For this reason I make request to you, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you will give your bodies as a living offering, holy, pleasing to God, which is the worship it is right for you to give him. And let not your behaviour be like that of this world, but be changed and made new in mind, so that by experience you may have knowledge of the good and pleasing and complete purpose of God. (Romans 12:1-2)

If the Lord is not helping the builders, then the building of a house is to no purpose: if the Lord does not keep the town, the watchman keeps his watch for nothing. (Psalms 127:1)
