不忘初心，合一前行：在業內共建神的國度
親愛的弟兄姊妹，主內平安！
經過自團契成立以來的十六個年頭，得著在禱告中的感動，得到團契弟兄姊妹的鼓勵和支持，自今年5月起，我再次出任團契主席的崗位。
要在職場內實踐傳福音這個大使命，在工程及建造業界的基督徒，實在是責無旁貸。這也是團契成立的初心。我們的異象：「在業內共建神的國度」和我們的使命：「作見證」、「傳福音」、「建平臺」，貫徹始終，並沒有改變。
我們深知道在職場內傳福音並不是一件容易的事，因為我們在工作中一方面要持守真道，一方面要面對屬世的挑戰，這正是一場屬靈的爭戰。但神安排每人在不同的工作崗位上必有祂的旨意，而可以向身邊的同事分享作為基督徒所領受的平安和喜樂，頌揚主的救恩，乃是何等佳美的事！誠如羅馬書10章14-15節的經文所說：「然而，人未曾信他，怎能求告他呢？未曾聽見他，怎能信他呢？沒有傳道的，怎能聽見呢？若沒有奉差遣，怎能傳道呢？如經上所記：「報福音、傳喜信的人，他們的腳蹤何等佳美！」
我們盼望透過團契建立的平臺，連系在業內有共同心志的弟兄姊妺，彼此團結力量，不忘初心，合一前行，一代一代的傳承下去。我們祈求神使用工程及建造業福音團契，倚靠著神的恩典，在業內同心見證及傳揚福音，把神的國度在業內擴展，讓祂的名得著榮耀！

秩序、禮物、享福
親愛的弟兄姊妹，主內平安！
「工程及建造業福音團契」於 2010 年 11 月正式成立，並訂定我們的異象為「在業內共建神的國度」，而我們的使命則為「作見證」、「傳福音」和「建平臺」。
2022 年是非常特別和難忘的一年。從 1 月以來，在第 5 波新冠肺炎疫情期間，有近 120 萬人被感染，9,100 人死亡。雖然我們現在看到第 5 波疫情慢慢減退，感染病例人數明顯減少，和職場逐步恢復正常，但是對我來說仍然清楚地記得當時長時間在家工作，自己、家人、身邊朋友及同事染病，疫情對我們生活和生命威脅，是如此迫在眉睫，當面對種種問題，感受重擔及不明白、不滿足、無意義、不掌握等傳道書所說的「虛空」時，我發覺互相提醒傳道書所說三個關鍵字：「秩序」、「禮物」及「享福」，是非常有用的。理解我們工作及生活是神創造的「秩序」，明白這是造物主的主權，人在其中不能操控、預知或明白。理解工作及生活及其果效都是神賜與的「禮物」，神亦非把它平均分配，不是由人賺取的，人不能選擇。基督徒應該珍惜工作，盡心盡力去完成，不遵守森林規則，不要比較，無論果效如何，因為神看是好的，我們也要看是好的，享受工作過程及成果 (「享福」，see good)。在職場上，我們先求神的國和神的義，用管家的心為神做好榮神益人的事，為主傳福音作見證。我們的心放在「日光之上」盼望永恆與神一起的同時，亦要理解「日光之下」是神的創造，要尊重和珍惜神的計畫及安排。
新一屆董事會已於 5 月接任。我們將持守著團契成立的目標，與業內弟兄姊妹及其他團契為神的國度，共建平臺，作見證，把福音傳給不同崗位的同業。今屆董事會有 5 位上屆董事留任，包括 Clifford、Collin、Raymond 及 Samuel；今屆董事會也有 5 位新董事，包括 Eric、Goman、Henry、Marion 及 Sidney，及執行董事 Michelle。除了 10 位董事之外，前任主席 Tony、CC 及 Jacky，和前任副主席 YT 會繼續支持我們。
主耶穌曾說：「我告訴你們：舉目向田觀看，莊稼已經熟了，可以收割了。」(約翰福音 4 章 35 節下) 工程及建造界是一個廣大的禾場，求主激勵我們，竭力將福音和主的名在業內廣傳。我也鼓勵弟兄姊妹加入我們團契的行列，同心興旺福音，我深信我們的勞苦在主裡面不會徒然，願主悅納我們的事奉。

Inheriting the Past and Forging Ahead
Glory to the Lord! The “Engineering and Construction Evangelical Fellowship” has been established for over seven years, during which the grace of God is endless. Over the years, He has continued to raise enthusiastic brothers and sisters in various sectors in the industry. They came from government departments, public organizations, consultant firms, construction companies, and even engineering colleges, in collaboration to pursuit the Vision of “Build the Kingdom of God in the Industry”, by way of practicing the Missions of "Practice Faith, Preach Gospel, Promote Platform", in manner of Core Values with “Bravery, Unity, Integration, Love, Devotion”, being zealous for the Lord in the gospel in the industry.
Whenever the individual office cell groups shared in the ECEF, we witnessed God's work in every corner of the industry, regardless of the setbacks or graces encountered by the members, such that God's protection and leadership were revealed. These always encouraged the brothers and sisters to "Practice Faith" in the workplace. In the annual Evangelistic Dinner, hundreds of guests came to the events and the demand grew up year after year. God prepared renowned speakers as well as guests for testimony, offering good opportunities for the brothers and sisters to “Preach Gospel”. In recent years, God has also allowed ECEF to build up connections with some of the core cell groups in the industry. We remembered and co-worked each other, so as to "Promote Platform" effectively.
A firm foundation of service with ECEF has been laid in God. After inheriting the past and forging ahead, the new Board of Directors took office in May 2018, and continued to drive the ECEF ministries forwards. This is to “Build the Kingdom of God in the Industry” with all its strengths, sustain the extension of Platform Promoting, facilitate the spreading of Gospel Preaching, and advocate the culture of Faith Practicing. Despite of new challenges, God will surely give sufficient grace to support, since God’s strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). May God give wisdom to every brothers and sisters who are zealous in God in the industry, to keep transformed by the renewal of mind, that by testing to discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2)

The Engineering and Construction Evangelical Fellowship was formally established in November 2010, and we have set our vision as "Let's build the Kingdom of God in the industry" and our missions as "Practice Faith", "Preach Gospel" and "Promote Platform".
Over the past few years, we have truly experienced God’s continued protection and abundant blessings. In the annual large scale evangelistic dinners, we have seen God leading people to Christ and Christians reaffirming their faith. In revival meetings and other special gatherings, the speakers brought motivating messages encouraging us to witness the Lord in the workplace and to strengthen the Gospel ministry. In fellowship meetings, we have good sharing and prayer support among brothers and sisters. Through the construction site ministry, God also linked up brothers and sisters of different sectors to spread the Gospel among colleagues, and a number of friends decided to believe in the Lord. We really have to give thanks to our Lord.
The new Board of Directors took office in May 2014. We will continue to pursue the goal of the Fellowship to unite brothers and sisters so as to spread the Gospel to colleagues in different positions in the industry. Jesus once said: "I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest." (John 4:35b) The engineering and construction industry is indeed a vast field. May the Lord inspire us to spread the Gospel and the name of the Lord widely in the industry. I also encourage brothers and sisters to join our Fellowship and work together to let the Gospel flourish. I am confident that our labour would not be in vain in the Lord, and may God be pleased with our ministry.
If the Lord is not helping the builders, then the building of a house is to no purpose; if the Lord does not keep the town, the watchman keeps his watch for nothing.

Jesus said, 「Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.」 Matthew 28:19-20 To accomplish this grand mission in the industry, it is clearly our obligations as a Christian in the engineering and construction field to spread God's Words to each and every one in our workplace.
Upon the calling of God, several brothers and sisters came together and began to conceive how to unite fellow Christians so as to blossom the missionary work within the industry. Later, we gathered more brothers and sisters who shared the same serving heart to God. After a series of genuine sharing and continuous prayers, we believed that the setting up of a fellowship would be the most efficient way to aggregate strength of brothers and sisters from different sectors to preach and spread the Gospel together, thus we started to prepare for the formal establishment of a fellowship. Under the grace of God, we who once were mutually uncorrelated became more acquainted and supportive to each other, and began to recognize the happiness of living together inside God.
Thanks to the guidance of God, the Engineering & Construction Evangelical Fellowship (ECEF) was finally established in November 2010. Our vision is 「Let's build the Kingdom of God in the industry」 and our missions are "Practice Faith", "Preach Gospel" and "Promote Platform".
We understand that spreading God's Word in the workplace is always not an easy task. On the one hand, we have to follow the doctrine of Jesus Christ, but on the other hand, we have to face various challenges in our daily life. It is a spiritual warfare. However, there is no doubt that God must have His reason sending us to different positions in the workplace. Also, how wonderful it is to share with your colleagues the peace and joy of being a Christian and to praise the salvation of God! We sincerely hope and welcome you to join our Fellowship, so that under His mercy we can work together with collaborative strength to be His witness and to spread the Gospel within the industry."Because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.」 Philippians 1:5-6 We pray that God can use this Fellowship to expand His Kingdom in the engineering and construction industry so as to glorify His holy name.
